We recently marked the long overdue resumption of our annual Bike to Work tradition. It was interrupted for two straight years by the global COVID pandemic, and we had forgotten how much we missed it. On June 22, 2022, we made our NINTH trek from Stratford Lakes (near 114th and Federal) to our shop, and this year’s tour included a slight change in the route, due to construction (see photo). Altogether, this one probably took us through about six miles of Westminster Open Space. Special kudos to Devanee Scena, whose little nine-year-old legs wouldn’t quit.

Upon conclusion, we enjoyed some breakfast goodies supplied by Ema Gutierrez. Thanks to everyone who joined us. If you enjoy bicycling, please consider joining us for the 2023 event. Even though it’s called Bike to Work, we promise not to make you work after you get here!
