Meet Tony Vagianos

Three Decades Behind the Service Counter

Tony Vagianos has spent 30 years as a service advisor and more than three decades in the automotive industry overall, making him one of the most experienced voices customers will encounter at Lake Arbor Automotive. That kind of tenure isn’t about clocking hours — it’s about having seen nearly every repair scenario, every customer concern, and every curveball a vehicle can throw, then knowing exactly how to walk someone through it.

His guiding philosophy is refreshingly direct: “It is what it is.” For Tony, that means telling customers the truth about their vehicle, exactly as the technicians find it — no sugarcoating, no upselling, no spin. Just honest information they can act on.

Meeting Every Customer Where They Are

What sets Tony apart is his ability to read each customer and adapt in real time. Some people want every technical detail explained; others just want to know what it costs and when they can pick the car up. Tony picks up on those cues quickly and adjusts how he communicates, so no one feels talked down to or talked over.

He approaches every interaction with patience and understanding, knowing that car trouble is rarely convenient and often stressful. His goal is to make sure customers leave the conversation with the proper knowledge to make a confident decision — whether that’s greenlighting a repair, prioritizing what matters most, or simply understanding what to watch for down the road.

Life Beyond the Service Drive

Outside the shop, Tony spends his time on hobbies that demand focus and a steady hand. He’s an avid remote control airplane enthusiast and enjoys time at the shooting range. Both pursuits

reward the same qualities he brings to work every day — patience, precision, and the discipline to do things the right way.
