Second Straight Year of Recognition for Lake Arbor Auto’s Dana TePoel
WESTMINSTER, Colo. (Feb. 4, 2010) – Dana TePoel, owner of Lake Arbor Automotive & Truck, has earned special recognition from the Metro North Chamber of Chamber of Commerce for the second straight year.
TePoel, who won the Chamber’s Small Business Person of the Year last year, received distinction at the Chamber’s recent Annual Gala 2010 as winner of the “Fred Factor” award, based on his ability to build relationships, re-invent himself regularly, create value for others, make a difference and “transform the ordinary into the extraordinary.”
“Lake Arbor Automotive customers have made it relatively easy for me to qualify for these kinds of awards that are based so heavily on customer relationships,” TePoel said. “Additionally, I have a crew of people-oriented employees who perpetuate the image of Lake Arbor Automotive as the place that ‘Does the right thing for the customer every time.’ “
Each member of the Metro North Chamber’s board of directors nominates an individual or business to receive the Fred Factor award. The directors are instructed to emphasize the intangibles that make a business successful.
Last year, the Chamber named TePoel its Small Business Person of the Year for his “entrepreneurial spirit and outstanding support of the Metro North Chamber of Commerce and its members.”
TePoel has been deeply involved with the Chamber on a number of levels; and Lake Arbor Automotive & Truck is a sponsor of the Chamber’s eight Development Council breakfast events this year, including the Ninth Annual Mayors’ Roundtable March 1 at the Westin Westminster Hotel.
