DENVER─ Today, Senator Evie Hudak (D-Westminster)presented a Senate tribute to the Lake Arbor Automotive & Truck Repair Shop as a part of the Colorado Ethics in Business Alliance’s annual awards luncheon. The Lake Arbor Automotive & Truck Repair Shop has provided service to thousands of customers in Westminster since 1992 and received the Bill Daniels Business Ethics Award from the Colorado Ethics in Business Alliance. This awards luncheon is held by the Colorado Ethics in Business Alliance annually to reward businesses that have demonstrated ethics and accountability in their practices.
Senator Hudak offered the following comment on the awards luncheon today:
“Not only are these businesses are creating jobs and strengthening their local economies, but also they are operating with integrity and investing in their communities. I’m proud to present the Lake Arbor Automotive & Truck Repair Shop with a tribute and to see one of my local businesses honored.”
The Colorado Ethics in Business Alliance works with communities, schools, and businesses to promote, recognize, and develop ethical business conduct. Every year the Colorado Ethics in Business Alliance presents Colorado companies and one individual with awards. The Bill Daniels Business Ethics Award is given to for-profit enterprises, the Samaritan Institute Award is given to non-profit organizations, and the Daniel L. Ritchie Award is given to an exemplary business leader. The recipients are selected from a large number of finalists representing a wide range of industries and groups.
Senator Hudak has been actively involved in the business community including the Arvada Chamber of Commerce, The Metro North Chamber of Commerce, and Jefferson County Economic Development Corporation.
