Auto service group raises ‘ton’ of food for charity

A group of the north Denver area’s most prominent auto repair/maintenance shop owners, including Lake Arbor Auto, collected enough food to feed a needy family of four for more than two months. In conjunction with their annual symposium, the Automotive Service Association-Colorado urged members to help deliver canned goods to the Food Bank of the Rockies, and the result at the Denver Marriott West conference room in Golden was a collection of nearly 2,000 cans.
